Post less, in a pattern

Three good posts a week on a fixed rhythm beat a daily scramble, and they are far easier to keep up.

Daily posting is the advice everyone repeats and nearly nobody sustains. The feed goes quiet after six weeks, and a page that has gone quiet looks worse than one that never posted much.

Pick formats, then slots

Decide on three recurring formats a brand can produce indefinitely: a client result, a behind-the-scenes, a piece of advice. Give each a fixed day. The audience learns the rhythm and the team stops asking what to post.

Batch the making

  • Shoot a month of behind-the-scenes in one afternoon.
  • Write the advice posts in one sitting from questions clients actually asked.
  • Keep a folder of results ready to publish as they come in.

The measure of a good schedule is whether it is still running in six months.
