The hour after publishing is when a post is shown to a small test audience. What happens in that hour decides how far it goes. Comments count double, and replies to comments count as comments.
Be there when it goes out
Publish when someone can actually watch the post, not at midnight from a scheduler. Reply to every comment with a real sentence, ask a question back where it fits, and pin the best exchange.
Turn comments into content
- A question asked twice in the comments is next week's post.
- Screenshot a great reply and share it to stories, with permission.
- Keep a note of the people who always comment: they are your community, treat them like it.
