Cookie Policy

This page explains which cookies and similar technologies the HOX Media website (hoxmedia.net) uses, what they are for, and how you can change your choice. It complements our Privacy Policy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Local storage works the same way, except that it stays in the browser and is not sent with every request. We use both: to keep the site working, and — only with your permission — to understand how it is used.

Essential cookies

These are needed for the site to work and are set without asking. They do not track you across other websites.

  • hox_media_session — identifies your visit so that the forms (Reach Out, contact, project brief, academy enrolment) submit correctly. Expires two hours after your last page view.
  • XSRF-TOKEN — protects those forms against forged submissions. Expires with the session.
  • hox_consent (local storage) — remembers whether you accepted or rejected cookies, so the banner does not ask again on every page.

Analytics and marketing cookies

Nothing in this group loads until you choose Accept in the cookie banner. If you choose Reject, or make no choice, none of these tools run and none of their cookies are set. When enabled, we may use:

  • Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) — cookies such as _ga and _ga_*, which tell us which pages are visited and how visitors arrive. IP addresses are anonymised.
  • Meta Pixel — cookies such as _fbp, which measure whether our Facebook and Instagram campaigns bring visitors here.

These services are provided by Google and Meta, which process the data under their own privacy policies.

Changing your choice

Your choice is stored only in your browser. To make it again, reset your cookie choice — the banner will appear on the next page you open. You can also clear this site's data in your browser settings, which has the same effect, or block cookies there altogether; the site keeps working, but the forms may not.
