Wild Flower Studio has a character of its own, and the brief was to build a site that is unmistakably theirs while still being practical to use and to run — the two ambitions that usually pull against each other.

The studio's character went into the parts that carry it best — the images, the type, the pace of the pages — while the structure underneath stayed conventional and predictable, because a visitor should never have to learn how a site works. Everything was built to be edited by the studio afterwards.

The site looks like the studio and behaves like a well-made ordinary website, which is exactly the combination that was asked for, and it is theirs to keep current.
