Like the luxurious restaurant in New Prishtina, we created something posh, original, and high-class.
All work
Publico is a restaurant in New Prishtina working at the top of the market, where the identity has to signal the price bracket before anyone has read a word. Overdone, that reads as pretension; underdone, it reads as a cheaper room than it is.
Restraint carried it: a narrow palette, generous space, and typography doing nearly all the work, with one gesture allowed to be decorative and nothing else. Every choice was tested on the materials a restaurant of this kind actually prints — a menu, a card, a bag, a box — because that is where luxury is either believed or not.
The identity reads as high-end without announcing it, and holds from a printed menu to a takeaway box. It was handed over as artwork for every surface the restaurant produces.
